Fine Artist, Dancer, Curator
Britney Simone is an artist and professional dancer based in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She has performed and taught pole dancing internationally including at the Ziggo Dome, Amsterdam, Netherlands and Pole Dance Ferrara, Ferrara, Italy.
My work involves curating stigmatized narratives and exploring the female form through abstracted figurative drawings.
Through these visual and textual dialogues, I challenge societal perceptions of shame and embodiment, as an act of reclamation and empowerment.
